Beauty Care For The Working Women

Beauty Care For The Working Women

A career woman is a very busy woman. She has not only to go to office and handle a lot of exacting chores but she has also to look after the household after her responsibilities at the desk are over. This leaves her with little time to look after herself and yet she needs to look neat and attractive in her place of work. What you require is to take one day off every week and reserve it for beautifying yourself. Make it Sunday when usually everyone has a holiday. This day should belong exclusively to you. Rest, relax and beautify yourself and see how the next day you will not only look more beautiful and attractive but be lighter and brighter both in body and spirit. This one day beauty.care is not only meant to beautify you but it is also health-giving and prolongs your youthfulness. On this day be as 'lazy' as possible, stay in bed as long as you like and stay off the telephone because talking takes as much energy as working.

Take a light diet on this day to give, your over worked digestive system a rest. Here is a sample of the Sunday diet.

Breakfast

One glass orange juice
Cornflakes with milk.
Tea or coffee.

Mid-morning
One cup skimmed milk with 1 biscuit. (You can substitute milk for tea or coffee.)

Lunch
Steamed chicken or fish.
One green or yellow vegetable.
One salad of raw vegetables.
Fruit of choice.

Mid-afternoon
Tea, coffee, milk or soft drink with 1 biscuit.

Dinner
Soup
Mutton stew
Bread
Fruit.

Bedtime
One cup skimmed milk with honey.

After taking your breakfast, rest for a while and then go in for your bath. Lock yourself in and get to work. Start with chores like 'defusing' your legs or arms, dealing with superfluous hair on the face, washing and setting your hair and doing your nails. All these chores need to be done regularly for a well-groomed look.

Now take your bath. Fill the bathtub with lukewarm water and put in a few drops of your favorite essence. Then, lie back in the tub and try to keep your mind blank think of absolutely nothing for 10 minutes or try to dwell upon happy things. Let your arms and legs float in the water, splash them around a little and let the ripples in the bath water float over you. Get out of the bath and pat yourself dry and give yourself a facial.

After all this, you should emerge from the bathroom, both refreshed and invigorated. Now have your lunch and go to bed. Do not talk, do not gossip, do not work, for this day is for you and for the next six days you will be for others-what a relaxed, beautiful and changed person you will be !

As regards the skin, clean your face both morning and night because, as you are out in the open for long periods, your skin takes on more dust and grime than the women who stay at home.

However tired you may be after a late night, do not hop into your bed without removing every trace of your makeup otherwise your pores will get clogged and your skin will become sick. Every night before going to bed give your skin a little nourishment by rubbing in a little cream of milk blended with lime juice and a pinch of turmeric powder. Use only a dusting of powder, a soft shade of lipstick and a touch of rouge for the office. And always carry your makeup kit with you to 'do' yourself up before leaving for your home.

Also pay greatest attention to your personal cleanliness so that you will not only feel fragrant but also fresh and lively the whole day through. So use a little bath essence, toilet water and dusting powder and also use deodorant regularly whether you think you need it or not.

101 Tips For Pageant Success

1. Smile, smile, SMILE!
2. While on stage, hold your head high and pretend that crown’s already on your head.
3. Scan the judges, scan the audience, then once again scan the judges.
4. If you find it difficult to look the judges in the eyes, look at their foreheads.
5. Remember – it isn’t the most talented girl who wins the talent competition. It’s whoever has the best stage presence.
6. Don’t compare yourself to the other girls, because you’re only being judged on you.
7. You don’t need to spend thousands of dollars to get a pageant winning dress. Search ebay or your local mall for sales. If it is elegant, sparkles on stage, and it makes you feel like a queen, then it could be your winning gown.
8. Swimsuit isn’t about who is the hottest girl on the stage. It is about who has the most confidence walking out on a stage in what can feel like underwear.
9. If at first you don’t succeed, try again. Most pageant winners have competed before, often many times.
10. It is good to exercise and eat well before a pageant, but there is no need to starve yourself because no matter what your size, your confidence and poise is what will take you on to the next stage of competition.
11. DON’T LIE ON YOUR PAPERWORK OR IN THE INTERVIEW. If you get caught in a lie, or one of the judges is an excellent poker player, your bluff will cost you.
12. Be true to yourself. The judges want to see girls who are real, not girls who sound rehearsed.
13. On your fact sheet, don’t give it all away. Make statements somewhat vague so the judges have something to ask about!
14. Practice, practice, practice. The more you practice, the more prepared you are, the better you’ll do.
15. You don’t have to have perfect grades or have something super impressive on your fact sheet to impress the judges. What will make you stand out is something unique that not many people have done or can do. Play the accordion? Race go carts? Breed hamsters? Write it down.
16. Have someone proofread your paperwork before you turn it in.
17. Perform your talent for as many people as you can. The more advice you can get, the better your performance will be.
18. Choose a platform that really means something to you, not just something you think will impress the judges.
19. Know your current events and important issues that are being discussed in the news.
20. Even if you don’t get the crown, you’re a winner just for competing so if you don’t win, don’t feel like a loser.
21. If you want to begin to eat healthier before the pageant, do some reading on proper nutrition. Surviving on tiny salads and diet soda will only slow your metabolism and you won’t lose fat that way.
22. Diet pills do NOT work. Enough said.
23. Every girl has a little "junk in the trunk". If you jiggle, don’t worry about it. Even the skinniest girls have a little jiggle room back there.
24. Cover any and all tattoos and remove any piercings other than up to two holes in your ear. You aren’t supposed to be judged on such things but unfortunately some people will. Sure, those people are stupid but there’s nothing you can do about it.
25. You don’t need to hire some expensive pageant coach to win. Anyone can do the same job and with a little reading and some research you can learn all you need to know about pageants.
26. Read up on some famous titleholders, especially if you’re competing in the Miss America or Miss USA systems.
27. On stage question is not as tough as it might seem. Often times the stage lights are so bright you can’t see the audience anyway so just pretend they aren’t even there.
28. If you don’t feel confident on stage, try and get some friends and family to be your "cheering section". This will definitely give you a confidence boost while on stage!!
29. In order to create a natural smile rather than a "plastic look", think of something funny before you go on stage. I kept a picture of David Hasselhoff from his Baywatch days backstage. This struck me as funny and kept my smile from looking unnatural.
30. The interview isn’t an interrogation, but rather a conversation where the judges can get to know you better.
31. Know your platform inside and out. You never know what you’ll be asked.
32. Be sure you understand just what the responsibilities of the titleholder are. You don’t want to win and discover that you can’t handle the job.
33. Don’t be afraid to ask questions in the interview if you don’t understand. The judges will be glad to clarify for you.
34. Try and think of all of your positive traits first before you write your paperwork. It’ll help a lot!
35. Never portray yourself in a negative light in any part of the competition. You want to be confident, not self-depreciating.
36. Does this pageant charge you to compete? Then forget about it. It’s only a scam.
37. Make sure your talent is not too long. If you have to change it the day before competition you might not perform very well.
38. Form opinions on EVERYTHING, from your opinion on the death penalty to what your favorite color is.
39. Use the bathroom before the interview and before the show. Trust me, you’ll appreciate it.
40. Keep your clothes organized and hung up so you can find things and they remain unwrinkled. When you have to change fast you won’t be stressing out about where you put your strapless bra or that your suit is wrinkled.
41. Don’t drink any carbonated drinks on competition day to prevent bloating.
42. Always maintain excellent posture. Shoulders back, chin parallel to the ground, and back straight, whether you’re sitting or standing.
43. Keep your walk slow and elegant during evening gown. Remember, it’s at this point the judges will be able to see who that crown will fit on best.
44. Search online for a good "pageant hairstyle". Look at pictures of all the current Miss America or Miss USA contestants for ideas. NO PROM UPDOS!! They just don’t work.
45. Don’t fuss with tons of jewelry. A large pair of rhinestone earrings can be all you’ll need. Search stores like Icing or Claire’s for cheaper accessories because when they have sales they mark some gorgeous jewelry down for dirt cheap.
46. Make sure your gown fits perfectly. This sometimes means waiting until a month or two before competition to buy it because if you lose or gain weight in the meantime, it may not fit right and you don’t want to find that out two weeks beforehand.
47. You don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars for a "pageant swimsuit", either. Stick with solid colors that compliment your skin tone and hair color. Something that has a touch of sparkle to it will look great.
48. Your evening gown shouldn’t look too much like your typical high school prom dress. Look at the type of dresses Miss America contestants wear. They are elegant, often with long trains, and they have at least a touch of sparkle. You can find these gowns among the many prom-type gowns but it can take a lot of searching to find the perfect one.
49. Do your research. There are lots of good pageant resources online, but finding them can be tough. Google will be your friend.
50. Talk to the current titleholder about what she does to prepare for competition. She’s already done it so she’s bound to have some excellent pointers for you.
51. Don’t do a pageant just because someone else wants you to. You won’t win and you won’t be happy. You have to want it.
52. Want a pretty crown? Buy one on ebay. Being a titleholder can often be a big responsibility, so be prepared.
53. Don’t spend thousands on cosmetic dentistry. Get some Crest Whitestrips if that will make your smile more confident. If you’re worried about the appearance of your teeth, see an orthodontist. Braces aren’t all that bad and you’ll be happy you had them because your mouth will be prettier and healthier.
54. Show your personality both in the interview and on the stage.
55. Get plenty of beauty sleep during pageant week!
56. Never get yourself down because you think the other girls are "better" or "prettier". We’re all more critical of ourselves.
57. You don’t to sing or play an instrument to win. Dancers and monologues do quite well, also. A unique talent will really set you apart, too. Are you a baton twirler? Juggler? Yodeler? Give it a shot because you’re bound to stand out among all the boring song and dance routines.
58. Afraid to go to the beach in your swimsuit? Probably not. So why is the stage any different? Those heels are just like sandals and at least on stage you can wear some sort of body makeup, boob pads, and butt glue. That stuff won’t fly down in Daytona and I bet you wouldn’t let that stop you from having fun there, either.
59. Make friends with the other girls! Don’t be catty or talk behind backs. Miss Congeniality is an even more honorable title than Miss America.
60. Don’t stay out late the night before the pageant. Dark circles under your eyes can only be covered up to a certain extent.
61. If and when you win, you are representing a group of people. Be a good representative and don’t do anything you might regret later or that might force the pageant to strip you of your title.
62. 99.9% of your interview will probably be based on your fact sheet. Just FYI.
63. Even though most of your interview will be based on your fact sheet, still be aware of your current events just incase they pop one of those questions on you. Don’t know what’s going on in the world most of the time? Then fill up that fact sheet so they’ve got more things to ask you.
64. Keep your answers short and concise. If you’re asked, "Do you take criticism well?" don’t answer with a one minute speech about the time when you were criticized and it made you feel bad. No one word answers, though. The more questions the judges can ask you, the more they get to know you, and the better you’ll do.
65. A little extra padding can go a long way. I think that statement’s self explanatory.
66. Make sure you have extra nylons. You never know when you’ll get the runs.
67. Don’t be afraid to make the judges laugh a little! Sharing something humorous will lighten the mood and make them feel more comfortable.
68. The judges are often just as nervous as you are, or even more so. They have a huge decision to make that could change the lives of the girls competing.
69. Still feeling nervous? Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Deep breathing relaxes the body. Another thing you might try is listening to a favorite song or watching an episode of your favorite comedy on your ipod beforehand.
70. Only tell a story if it is relevant and doesn’t take too long to tell. Remember, you’ve only got a matter of minutes for these judges to get to know you.
71. Read books that are geared towards people looking to improve your job interview skills. A pageant is just like a job interview. You are being interviewed for the job of Miss Whoever.
72. Have your friends and family pop interview questions on you. The more practice, the better.
73. Is there a local title you really want to win but don’t have much experience? Try entering an open pageant (one in which anyone in the state can enter). The competition will be MUCH tougher and it will give you some valuable experience. The girls competing may be quite experienced and can give you plenty of advice.
74. Watch pageants on TV. See just how these girls do it.
75. Still don’t feel like a queen? Buy a plastic crown and wear it while you practice that evening gown walk. It may seem silly, but it can be a confidence booster!
76. You don’t need to be 5’9", blonde, and have a white gown to win. You can win no matter what your size, shape, color, or social status. The judges don’t know how much money you have or if that’s really your natural hair color or not.
77. Make sure you have tons of fun! If you aren’t having fun, maybe this pageant thing isn’t for you. It shouldn’t seem like a chore. You should enjoy it.
78. While working on your platform, make sure you know the names of organizations that are somehow connected that you can get into contact with. If you’ve got such connections it’ll be very impressive to the judges.
79. Search Yahoo or any news site for current events relating to your platform. If your platform’s cancer and someone very famous died of cancer last week, you might want to know this. If your platform is AIDS and they’ve discovered a new treatment a couple days ago and if you can include that in the interview, it’ll wow them.
80. The competition is a performance! Put on a good show. You want to entertain as well as impress.
81. You should use some sunless tanner to get some color in your skin if you’re very pale. The color accentuates your muscle tone and makes you appear to be thinner.
82. If you’re still feeling self conscious about something "jiggling", rub Preparation H on it. It tightens the skin temporarily so use it before you go on for swimsuit.
83. Use a shimmer lotion on the front of your legs and your arms for a slimming effect.
84. If you want to know how you’re doing, ask the pageant directors. Hopefully they’ll be honest with you.
85. I know it’s ridiculous, but… "BE THE CROWN!! You ARE the crown!!"
86. Wear heels everywhere. It’ll help your walk immensely.
87. Pump iron. Weight training along with cardio will keep you toned and burn more fat. If you’re in good shape you’ll be more confident!!
88. Remember that often times the judges are at foot level. Have a nice, neat pedicure. Use a light pink polish if you are unsure as to what color to use. It looks classy and goes with everything.
89. Keep double stick tape and super glue in your dressing room. You never know when it’ll come in handy.
90. Your talent costume should be comfortable but also a little flashy. In the pageant world, a little sparkle here and there (or a lot of sparkle, whichever you like best) goes a long way.
91. Pageants are a great way to earn scholarships. Look for pageants that reward scholarships for all contestants participating so you’re guaranteed to get something back out of it.
92. Fake eyelashes are great for the stage, but don’t wear them in the interview. The interview is a much more professional setting so wear a nice suit, small earrings, and little makeup. Your makeup should be just as much as you might wear on an average day.
93. Whether you’re an A cup or a DD cup, you don’t need plastic surgery to win a pageant. Don’t be like those girls on MTV’s Tiara Girls who think they need lip injections to do well. Have you noticed that those girls usually don’t win?
94. Don’t scoff at first runner up. First runner up means you beat out everyone else except one, and that’s nothing to cry about!
95. You never know what’s going to happen. Don’t prepare to win or to lose. This set of judges might make one decision and another set of judges could make an entirely different decision!! A girl who was fourth runner up at a local pageant was awarded the crown when the winner was stripped of her title for some reason and the three girls ahead of her were ineligible because they’d already won other titles. This girl recently became Miss Kentucky.
96. If you make a mistake, try to act like it never happened. The audience may not notice and if the judges notice but see how quickly you can pick up your composure quickly afterwards they might be impressed.
97. Be on time. There is no such thing as fashionably late in the pageant world.
98. Not everyone is as nice as they appear. Be nice to everyone during the pageant and if someone turns on you don’t seek revenge. No matter what, always strive to be Miss Congeniality. It will take you far not only in pageants but also in life.
99. Be prepared for everything. I suggest bringing a large Rubbermaid container and pack everything but the kitchen sink because you never know what you might need backstage.
100. Don’t change anything during pageant week. Make all of your final wardrobe decisions beforehand and you’ll feel prepared and confident!
101. Last, but most certainly not least…HAVE FUN!

How to Get a Guy to Notice You

How to Get a Guy to Notice You

If you want to know how to make a guy fall in love with you, then this is not the article for you. This is for those who have noticed a guy and want him to notice her back (getting him to like you is a whole other story). Luckily, getting a guy to notice you is easier because it involves the use of basic social skills. You should be honest, direct, pleasant, and reasonable.

Steps

Be sure that his attention is what you want. Don't try to get a guy to look your way just because you want attention and you want to feel good about yourself. You don't want to lead someone on. You could end up in a very awkward or uncomfortable situation--see the Warnings below.
Be yourself. Everyone probably says this, but it's true! No guy wants a girl to pretend she is something she's not. Any guy who wants a fake kind of girl is not a guy whose attention is worth having. Resist the temptation to put on a show or to do anything that just isn't you just to get his attention.
Get a new look. Don't change who you are, just try something different. Try a new hairstyle, new clothes, etc. It's a good idea to change things up once in a while, just because variety's the spice of life, and it might help you catch his eye. Try being that tough girl who is different from all the other okay looking girls giving him the eyes, because beauty is common, but a good outlook and a great energy are very rare.
Smile and make eye contact. Whether closed-mouth or open-mouth, do it. Unless it really makes you feel artificial, learn how to shoot people a reassuring smile, letting them know that you're a happy and confident person who wants to enjoy life. The idea is to communicate that you're inviting their company.
Flirt. Do it as little or as much as you want, but remember that too much flirting (especially with other guys) will likely get him to take notice, but perhaps not in a good way. If he reacts and you don't think its real (he's just doing it because you're there and you're a girl and he thinks he can do better, let him know he can't). If he is faking it, call his bluff and say something that makes him know you don't think he is 'all that'. For example, if he comes close, pull a face and offer him gum. This will unbalance his ego.
Try to be around him often. Such as sitting near him. Take interest in the activities he's interested in, not just so that you can get near him but also so that you can get to know him better and so you can broaden your own horizons. (But never pretend to love something you don't even like just because he likes it! Although most guys find this cute, when and if they ever find out, it can be painful for you, and usually unnecessary.)
Talk to him. Try to get to know him a little by discussing things you have in common. A good way to start a conversation is to ask him a question. Listen to him and don't interrupt him when he is talking. You could even compliment him or ask for help. a good Opener is spray two different perfumes on each wrist, then go up to him and ask him his favorite. this should get him to talk to you. Also be friendly to his friends to help him feel more comfortable around you.some guys don't notice girls unless they talk to the guy.
**Be assertive. You are the girl. You have the power. A lot of guys are shy and awkward around girls they like, so don't hold back. Do what you want to do. Boys like a powerful girl. Be decisive. Tell him what you want him to do, etc.--just don't get too bossy!
Make him feel special. There's got to be a reason that you want him to notice you, and that's because you noticed him first. Let him know--subtly--that you're interested in who he is, and that you sincerely want to get to know him better.
Be brave. Stand up for who you are, and what you believe in. Ultimately, this will catch the attention and respect of someone who is going to work well for you, even if it turns out not to be this guy.
Don't be a slob! It's a real turn-off for a guy when he notices a girl hasn't brushed her hair or wears the same outfit every other day. Clothes, makeup, and jewelry are the typical items many guys expect girls to wear. Even if you don't fall within the typical expectations, just looking presentable is always desirable--irrespective of who is the guy or girl.
When you have come familiar perhaps you could touch his arm or as I've found very handy just when you are walking hold your hand slightly away from your body so he could hold it.
Try to be his friend, find out about him (but not too much)and try to understand his personality!

Be sure to invite him to every party you have. Do not give him the first invite, and don't seem so hyper and excited that would make him rather want to shoot himself than to come.

Tips

Be sure to have gum, breath mints, Listerine strips, etc. around in case you need to freshen up quickly, especially if you're hoping to start a conversation.

If you have gum or mints or whatever in your purse, try offering him a piece but give a best friend a piece too, so its not that obvious.
It's always a good idea to keep yourself well-groomed. While there are guys who get uncomfortable and intimidated if you're all dolled up, it never hurts to stick to a few hygiene basics: shower, brush your teeth regularly, use deodorant, keep your hair decent (not perfect, but decent), and take care of your skin.
Better yet, stay healthy! Exercise and a mixture of good and bad food is better than going on a no food diet. Exercise releases a chemical that makes you feel good about yourself. If you feel good about yourself you are very good at flirting. Chocolate releases another chemical the makes you feel very happy, if you don't eat too much that is.

Speak your mind. You're not a drone, and any guy worth having will love it. Just don't scare them by going into a spiel. It's a turn-on to see a girl who loves her mind, not one who's bent on world domination. Likewise, don't get caught up in complaining (about yourself, others, your circumstances). Negativity pushes others away, and it lowers your self-esteem.

If you cannot relate to any of his interests, or even make a genuine effort to get into it, there will never be ground for a lasting relationship anyway. Dump your intentions now.

Being too straightforward might mean leaving him bored. One way to get someone's attention is to make him curious, and that means leaving him guessing to some degree.

Laugh at his jokes, even if they aren't funny. Then tell a couple to make him laugh.

When you are at a party, hang around with some friends (and him) and you will all have a good time. Only if your friends like him.
Hang out with him and his friends a lot.

Go to the movies with him, and put a bit of perfume behind your ears so that he can smell it and want to come closer to you. Scary movies are better because you can curl up closer to him more than other times and hold him when you get scared. Plan everything you do BEFORE you do it. Dates where you go to a movie and sit through it with nothing happening between you and then you both go home, ****. He's going to enjoy that so much! NOT.

Put lip balm on your lips. It will attract his attention to your lips and he will probably want to kiss them! A survey of men shows that they love the look of gloss on girls' lips, but can't stand the taste. Try to find lip gloss that has a noticeable fruity taste.

Be mysterious; keep him guessing. Don't overdo this; it will make him frustrated if you do it too much
You have to be able to know how to not be so serious! Be laid back, be fun!

Never ask him out through a friend! He`ll think you're a coward and he might just say no.

Be outgoing and make small talk every once in awhile. Just remember not to be nosy, though.

Don`t ask him how you look! It will just make him uncomfortable and he`ll think you're too self-absorbed for him.

Find out what his favorite color is -- subtly, don't just go up and ask him unless you're really confident. Then slowly integrate it into your wardrobe. Don't go out and buy piles of it, but if he really likes that color he'll notice the clothes and therefore the person in them. DON'T BUY THE CLOTHES IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE COLOR. You're still your own person.

You will probably find that if you're NOT doing these steps, and simply living a normal life without guys, then they will become more attracted to you, People naturally want what they can't have.

Warnings

Be careful whose attention you're getting, and what kind of attention you're earning. Being noticed by a sleazy guy who'll pressure you to do things you don't want to do or a needy guy who'll cling to you and make you feel limited is something you can avoid by being wary.

You can't get everyone to notice you. Remember that guys come and go, so do not stress yourself if things do not work out in your favor.
Being too obsessive can do the opposite of what you want to achieve, pushing him farther away. If he just won't become attracted to you, leave it alone. Do not push it, or things might get ugly, and you'll earn a bad reputation.

Don't show off too much flesh, especially if he would always look! Keep him under suspense, incase he thinks you're a push over.
Realize that sometimes things might always be better as friends, but if he wants to just be friends take the opportunity, because thats better then nothing, who knows he might end up liking you after a while.

If you want him to be attracted to you, make sure he's single first! You never want to be with man who is taken. you know what they say, what goes around comes around.

Diff Between LOVE & LIKE

In front of the person you love, your heart beats faster
But in front of the person you like , you get happy.

In front of the person you love, winter seems like spring
But in front of the person you like, winter is just a beautiful winter.

If you look into the eyes of the one you love, you blush
But if you look into the eyes of the one you like, you smile.

In front of the person you love, you can' t say everything on your mind
But in front of the person you like, you can.

In front of the person you love, you tend to get shy
But in front of the person you like, you can show your ownself.

Then person you love comes into your mind every 2 minutes.
You can't look straight into the eyes of the one you love
But you can always smile into the eyes of the one you like.

When the one you love is crying, you cry with them
But when the one you like is crying, you end up comforting.

The feeling of love starts from the eye
And the feeling of like starts from the ear.

So if you stop liking a person you used to like
All you need to do is cover your ears,
But if you try to close your eyes
Love turns into a drop of tear and remains in your heart forever after.

30 real feelings of girls

1. When a girl says she's sad, but she isn't crying, it means she's crying in her heart.

2. When she ignores you after you've done something wrong, it's best to give her some
time to cool down before touching her heart with an apology.

3. A girl can't find anything to hate about the
guy she loves (which is why it is so hard for
her to 'get over him' after the relationship's
over.)

4. If a girl loves a guy, he will always be on her mind every minute of the day, even
though she flirts with other guys.

5. When the guy she likes smiles and stares
deep into her eyes, she will melt.

6. A girl likes to hear compliments, but usually not sure how to react to them.

7. When a particular guy flirts with a girl very
often, a girl would start thinking the guy likes
her. So if you treat a girl just as a friend, go

8. If you don't like a girl who likes you, break
it to her gently.

9. If a girl starts avoiding you after you reject
her, leave her alone for a while. If you still
treat her as a friend, talk to her.

10. Girls enjoy talking about what they feel.
Music, poetry, drawings and writing are ways
of
expressing themselves (which explains why
most girls like writing journals).

11. Never tell a girl that she is useless in
anyway.

12. Being too serious can turn a girl off.

13. When the guy she likes calls her for the first time, the girl may act uninterested during
the call. But as soon as the phone is back on the hook, she will whoop with joy and
immediately start telephoning her friends to spread the news.

14. A smile means a lot to a girl.

15. If you like a girl, try making friends with
her
first. Let her get to know you.

16. If a girl says she can't go out with you
because she has to study, leave.

17. But if she still calls you or expect a call
from
you, stay.

18. Don't try to guess a girl's feelings. Ask her.....

19. Hearing the words "I love you" is a great
reassurance to a girl that she is beautiful.

20. After a girl falls in love with a guy, she'll wonder why she never noticed him before.

21. If you need tips on how to flirt with a girl,
read romance stories.

22. When class pictures come out, a girl
would
first check who is standing next to her crush
before actually looking at herself.

23. A girl's ex-crush will always be in her
memory, but the guy she loves now stays in
her heart.

24. Girls love having fun!

25..... A simple 'Hi' can brighten a girl's day.

26. A girl's best friends usually know best
what
she is feeling and going through.

27. Girls hate it when a guy pays attention to
them just to get close to their 'prettier' friend.

28. Love means devotion, caring and happiness to a girl, in that order.

29. Some girls care about looks, some care about brains, but ALL girls want a guy who
will love and care for them.

30. Girls want nothing more than to feel
loved.

Skin Care (How to relieve dry skin?)

How to relieve dry skin?

Dry Skin Relief:

Does dry skin cause wrinkles? No, this is a myth

Some causes of dry skin are:

Cold weather and low humidity

Central heating can make air dry which can cause dry skin.

Aging - Lower estrogen levels, thinning skin, and the fact that our skin can not produce enough oils are some of the reasons our skin is more prone to dryness as we age.

Dry skin affects people who have skin type I or II more frequently.

In some cases dehydration, malnutrition, diabetes, eczema or low thyroid hormones can cause dry skin.

Treating dry skin:

When you shower use lukewarm water and don't take long showers or baths.

Apply moisturizer while skin is still damp to seal in moisture.

Use mild soap and avoid perfumed soaps.

Use a humidifier at home.

Avoid skin care products that contain alcohol.

Don't wash your face too frequently.

Use moisturizers which contain emollients. Emollients, such as urea and mineral oils, soften skin and provide a barrier to keep moisture in and harmful agents out. Your moisturizer should also have lipids (fat or waxes) such as cholesterol, lecithin or glycerol.

Dry skin can cause flaky and rough skin. To get rid of the layer of dead skin use a gentle exfoliant containing alpha hydroxy acid or beta hydroxy acid.

Wear sunscreen.

Apply moisturizer frequently.

Get that teenage look!

Nostalgia isn’t quite the emotion which you feel when you see teenagers hanging out near colleges nowadays right? It's a frustrated state of jealousy which almost triggers depression inside your mind that you will never have that figure and energy again. Fear not, for some simplistic changes in your lifestyle can rejuvenate that teenage vigour within you, even when you have close to 30 candles on your birthday cake!

1. Challenge yourself every day

Stop convincing yourself that exercising thrice a week is just about okay to 'maintain' your body. That would do just that, not give you the figure you dream of! Bunking exercise - whether at the gym or at home more than thrice a week is simply inappropriate. Challenge yourself to doing tougher or longer exercises every single day. Your body will tune on its own. After all, it is a movement machine, move it or lose it.

2. Do strength-based exercises

Strength based exercises are those which stretch your muscles and tone them for more activity. It is apt to load your bones at least thrice a week (but no more) for both men and women. With over 600 muscles in the human body, it just doesn't make sense to train the way most people do by isolating different muscles and bombarding them with labourious moves. Try to find exercises that use as many muscles as you possibly can.

3. Water way to look young!

Even after all those beauties on Indian television and cinema saying that it is water that they drink which helps get their glowing skin, why don't you believe them?! Glowing skin may be a myth, but drinking clean, fresh water at regular intervals definitely helps your digestive and circulations systems - whatever your age! Less than three to four glasses a day and your organs, your skin, your muscles and even your brain cease to operate effectively. If heading to work, get a bottle of mineral water.

4. Processed food isn’t cool!
The next time you pick something off the mall shelves thinking that you will 'heat it and eat it' later, know that another name for processed food is 'denatured' food. All of the nature has been removed from it in order to make it last longer on the shelves. Do you really want to eat something without any 'nature' in it? Only you can decide that. Foods with colours and flavours and numbers instead of ingredients are more likely to end your life early than extend it. Opt for fresh produce, ensuring that 80% of what you eat comes from the bhajiwallah and not the processed foods counter at the mall.

5. Eat less

Enough has been talked about on over-eating and safe 'hogging'. Toss away all schedules and dietary plans if you tend to overeat all the time. They useless then. Eat four to five small meals a day rather than two humoungous meals complete with desserts helps you in the long run. Period. Be selective and practical if you love food too much to give up.

6. Sleep more

The human body requires sleep of both great quality and quantity. Your career and work schedule may require you to not sleep for much time but then don't dream of a toned body too! Try to sleep between the hours of 10pm and 2am to make the most of your body's hormonal repairs. The hours 2am to 6am are crucial to countering stress. In other words, all sleep is not the same. The timing is important too. Adequate sleep is also known to boost the immune system.
